Just returned from the 2012 Moab Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. This year I wanted to mount a CB on my Jeep and found the perfect spot to mount it on the Warn tire carrier. This stud mount was the perfect item for attaching the antenna. I also used the existing stiff spring to mount between the stud and the antenna. With this setup, the 4-foot Firestick antenna was the perfect length for me, and the spring allowed enough flex so the antenna wasn't stressed when climbing or moving under low-hanging branches.
