Bought this for one of my dogs after surgery. The vet advised me on how to ensure the correct fit and how important it is. It worked like a charm. No more hitting with skittles or even inflatable donuts. Sits like a wide collar. I take it off for short periods when I can watch my dog directly, always making sure it's tight enough to get the job done but loose enough for comfort. I think it should have additional instructions for proper installation. My dogs accepted this willingly and seem much happier during their recovery. It's not for all body parts, but it works for most. I think this is a great way to make the dog recovery process less stressful.
