Great device with moderate use.

As a vet I've given away a lot of electronic collars, but when it came to my own German Shepherd roaming the house with a giant satellite dish, it was "unacceptable". I've used this type of collar in the past and couldn't find one locally so I ordered one from Revain. I used the sizing chart but my dog is small for his breed and about an inch longer but still works. I've seen many reviewers say their dogs have developed bedsores. I don't leave mine on all day - when the dog is under my directโ€ฆ

A great alternative if installed correctly and used with common sense!

Bought this for one of my dogs after surgery. The vet advised me on how to ensure the correct fit and how important it is. It worked like a charm. No more hitting with skittles or even inflatable donuts. Sits like a wide collar. I take it off for short periods when I can watch my dog directly, always making sure it's tight enough to get the job done but loose enough for comfort. I think it should have additional instructions for proper installation. My dogs accepted this willingly and seem much

Does exactly what it takes.

puppy can't stop looking at me like i cheated on him. But he can't turn around to get his cock no matter how hard he tries. It can't hit me if I put it on him like he did with the cone. It was made to get revenge I think. The interior is well padded and looks comfortable for him. He didn't oppose me at all and just accepted it. Saw in a review that it was the wrong length. The ad didn't include instructions on how to measure my dog, but luckily I have a German Shepherd. Which is one of theirโ€ฆ

I can't believe how much I paid for this

I don't know where to start. I had high hopes for them based on what I bought from Petco a few years ago. They are definitely NOT worth the price. The size is terrible, not a 1/2 size, I ordered which was a mistake. The velcro inside is not long enough to use. The strap around the collar is unusable from the outside, it must be tightened with Velcro. Poor construction, foam padding on the outside that breaks if viewed the wrong way. Focus on measuring between the bottom of your ear and yourโ€ฆ

Great idea but not finished yet.

My dog was spayed and sent home with a terrible pubic cone. He knocked things over, struggled to get out of the box, and continued tapping things with a cone. Assuming there is something better, I looked for this device and found it. I ordered it through Prime and it arrived very quickly. Sizing was easy and the size I measured matched the suggested size on the manufacturer's website (which confirmed my measurements were correct). The device stood easily and it was great! Not a 24/7 collar but a good collar for a destroyer dog

My child had TPLO (long recovery time) surgery and developed antibiotic resistant staph when he destroyed the E-Cone , which we had sent home two days later. We bought another E-Cone and it lasted a week. We bought a very large electronic skittle and it lasted a week. We tried the pool noodles and they keep for a week and a half. Detonate E-Collar: 24 hours. When he developed another infection, I collapsed and got a teething ring. Now we have to remove the disk and he will use it again. So far,

Much better than a lampshade!

The vet gave us one of the traditional lampshade collars after my dog's surgery. While this helped him not lick the seams, he was a one-man wrecking crew, tapping everything in their path. An 80-pound Weimaraner is crazy enough without extra help. It also left marks on the walls because it walked on it, and he kept trying to get rid of it by rubbing against something. Going to the toilet was difficult for him as he also likes to sniff all sorts of things. They tried to plant it while we wereโ€ฆ

Mostly great for collars

Despite the snug fit, it was just a HUGE improvement over the more standard Elizabethan collar (aka "electronic collar"). With the E-Collar on, my dog kept bumping into things, fussing, rocking, and crashing into other things with it. It also crashed into me and my wife and the edge of the e-collar was sharp and painful. With this collar there is no such edge and with it he has significantly less stress which has allowed us to reduce the amount of his sedative. As mentioned elsewhere, thisโ€ฆ
