Review on The BiteNot Collar: Providing Comfortable ๐Ÿถ and Safe Solutions for Pet Wound Recovery by Gillian Francis

Great idea but not finished yet.

My dog was spayed and sent home with a terrible pubic cone. He knocked things over, struggled to get out of the box, and continued tapping things with a cone. Assuming there is something better, I looked for this device and found it. I ordered it through Prime and it arrived very quickly. Sizing was easy and the size I measured matched the suggested size on the manufacturer's website (which confirmed my measurements were correct). The device stood easily and it was great! The dog could eat and drink and did not bump into anything. He could maneuver and still not get to the scene. Brilliant! However, I found that it was holding moisture after about 4 days when I saw moisture in the clear plastic part. To make matters worse, I noticed my dog's neck was bleeding. It rubbed his neck. I've attached an image so you can see what I'm talking about. We have unfortunately returned to the cone. This is a great idea for a device and hopefully they will work on it to avoid moisture and injury. Maybe some vents and gaskets would help.
