The 1st block came with a manufacturing defect. Revine was happy to be replaced. 2nd block without production problems. Short handles work best for rivets with thinner shanks. Rivets with a thicker shank require considerable hand strength. The extra power allows the shank to flex slightly so the shank doesn't fall out of the body to load the next rivet. I hope that makes sense. If anything, it's a basic homeowner unit. Stay away from thicker shank rivets. Get a gun with longer grips and a more commercial design to get more leverage and power when working with large shank rivets. Works great with small, thin stem rivets. Good?
