Microscope does exactly what I need. I wanted to see the markings on circuit boards to find information about those boards. I like this microscope more than just a magnifying glass as it has a higher magnification and you can use it hands-free. It was automatically detected and the drivers were installed on a Linux machine (Ubuntu 20.04 LTS). A Windows 10 computer recognized it and automatically installed the drivers. Just use the Windows Camera app that comes with Windows 10. I took off a star in the Ease of Use category because it worked automatically on one Windows 10 PC, but didn't work on a second Windows 10 PC until I installed drivers on the CD that came with the microscope. Aside from the required drivers, the software on the CD wasn't as good as the Windows Camera app to use the camera, but your opinion of the app may vary. It's pretty solid and requires manual focus tripod adjustment. You probably need a better stand if you're using it in the middle of a large PCB. Comes with a nice nylon case to store the microscope when not in use. In general, a useful and inexpensive tool for handymen. Exactly what I needed for my use!
