Review on Maxxis RE FUSE 700X40C Unisex Adult 700X40C by Tim Wheeler

It replaced the shortened 37mm GravelKing and is still great. Huge volume 40mm but it feels like 28. Run it at about 35psi and I got lazy and ran it at 22psi too. No real difference other than an extra pillow. I found it squirms when it gets low when driving the newer "thick" painted lines. Remove the paint and the tires will settle. A very simple tubeless setup, the body "springs" around the rim and almost snaps into place. I've already primed my compressor, but I'm assuming a floor pump would work. Without sealant it will not leak. I plant my tires without sealant, then add a second one and they held air without sealant on Hunt 4 Season gravel bikes.
