Review on ๐Ÿ›ด Albott Kid Scooter: My 1st Folding 4 Wheel Scooter for Kids - Age 2-5 | Growth Stage Transformer & Removable Design by Christopher Tillman

Just the right size. but very poor durability

**Correction to my previous review*** Once the snow melted we rode the scooter outside on the paved road. Less than 10 feet later the first wheel fell off. We screwed the screws all the way in, but the wheels still fell off a couple of times and my child is reluctant, if not afraid, to use the scooter. Today he tried again and the plastic holding the wheel studs fell apart. I have contacted Albott support and am awaiting their response. I would not recommend this product, the durability is bad but the concept is good. This was bought as a gift for my child. Initially we liked the idea of more durable 4 wheels for a kid just starting to ride a scooter. The handlebar height and wheel configuration were exactly what we were looking for. The scooter is surprisingly heavy, weighing almost the same as my oldest child's Raisor scooter. It was easy to assemble. However, we noticed that in 4-wheel mode, the tires stick and rub against the sides of the scooter. We put a washer (not included with the scooter) between the wheel and frame and that seems to have helped. It folds conveniently for storage or travel and is perfect for a child aged 3+. The footrest has good texture to prevent slipping while driving. As it is winter now we couldn't use it much.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
