Review on Wolf Walkers Expansion Amazing Minutes by Ruben Jamrock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A fun, engaging game that teaches foresight

Great packaging and the game has amazing depth and versatility. At first glance, there seems to be a lot of instructions, but that's because the developers want to help you have no doubts about the gameplay. As soon as you start playing, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary card game. With so many ways to earn points, each game is unique and the random shuffling of cards makes it difficult to predict the outcome. Not only that, but destination maps require forward thinking to maximize your score. In that it's somewhat similar to UNO, in which there are twists of fate, and somewhat similar to chess in that it involves strategy. My daughters (10 and 7 years old) love this game. The beautiful art draws attention and the story-driven character of the game is irresistible. This isn't a mindless "roll the dice and move the token" game. I can only wonder how long they worked to make it happen. Kudos to Cartoon Saloon for being a spin-off that's well worth the money in terms of the quality of the physical product and the intellectual stimulation of the gameplay.
