Review on 🌧️ General Tools MMD7NP: Pinless Moisture Meter & Water Leak Detector with Backlit LCD Screen by Roger Alexander

I haven't read thousands of reviews and don't know if this was covered. I've used the gauge to find plumbing leaks behind drywall and found the gauge to be accurate except in corners where it gave me consistently false readings of high humidity. When I removed the drywall from a spot a few inches from the corner that the meter said was very wet (all the strips lit up and the alarm went off), the drywall and counter behind it were dry to the bone with no sign of ever having had moisture. . I then placed the meter in other corners where there was no moisture and got very high readings. The reading dropped to almost zero when I moved the gauge just an inch or two farther from the corner. The manual doesn't say anything about it, so be careful. Anyone getting a high drywall moisture reading in a corner may want to test a few corners before doing a demo.
