If this is your first glass repair, a real experience awaits! It's hard and takes forever.

Sanding discs look and feel like Velcro wet and dry sandpaper. They are expensive to replace and wear out very quickly even when used with a constant flow of water. The sanding pads are good quality, well balanced and work great but it takes so long I was afraid of burning my drill bit. Other things in the box are easy to replace. You get enough discs to do about one job and all you have left are pads. I ended up buying a Harbor Freight angle grinder style electric polisher and diamond blades from HIS Glassworks. You've eliminated the mess of deep scratches in no time with a scratch repair kit. Some cerium oxide and a few minutes of polishing gave me the finish I was hoping for.
