Sanding discs look and feel like Velcro wet and dry sandpaper. They are expensive to replace and wear out very quickly even when used with a constant flow of water. The sanding pads are good quality, well balanced and work great but it takes so long I was afraid of burning my drill bit. Other things in the box are easy to replace. You've eliminated the mess of deep scratches in no time with a scratch repair kit. Some cerium oxide and a few minutes of polishing gave me the finish I was hoping for.
