We have an old Wrangler that has only been driven occasionally. We had an issue with the battery draining after being idle for too long and wanted to get a solar charger. This allows us to connect the quick connector that comes with the kit to the extra stands and not have to connect it somewhere else, which is very convenient. Plus, the quick disconnect can come in handy on the trails instead of pulling out a wrench to disconnect the battery to connect or disconnect other things.
