Adding a subwoofer to the stock Bose system in my 2015 Yukon Denali was a nightmare. Unplug the factory subwoofer from my JL amp and I have muddy bass and terrible engine noise. I've tried everything to eliminate the ground loop, but to no avail. I tried this as a last resort before pulling everything out and living with factory sound. About half an hour to install, taking the dashboard apart and putting in a new RCA and remote (the amp was already there). I now have clean bass that matches the factory system and clean engine noise. I didn't use the extra volume control as I already installed the gain control that came with the amp. Sounds great and works perfectly with the factory radio. To date, there are no issues that other reviewers have mentioned. I will update if there are any problems.
