I've been waiting to write this to ensure I've tested it as much as possible before either recommending or condemning it. At the same time: 1) It was pretty easy to set up right out of the box. All the necessary cables were included and although I'm not tech savvy I was able to understand and follow the instructions to set everything up to my liking. 2) I bought it because I was tired of watching videos and streams on my phone while playing games on my laptop and for that purpose it works great. Is this the best quality? No, but it looks good. Maybe just a slightly matte/darker look than what I'm used to, and I can route audio through my laptop, so that's fine. I've never tried playing games, so I can't say how it will turn out. 3) The included power adapter is garbage, throw it away. I first plugged it into a surge protector with an AC adapter for the first 2 months or so when the screen started flickering and randomly turning off, but I could still hear sound. I fiddled with cables, swapped plugs, swapped USB ports before finally realizing the power adapter was overheating and shutting off the power. So if you have a surge protector, USB ports plug into it. In doing so, I noticed that I can't connect more than one other thing when the monitor is connected. Overall, this is a good monitor for my needs, but I had to deduct a star for issues I had/had with the power supply.
