Review on Selector Switcher Sharing Keyboard 3840X2160 by Maurice Stavros

It depends on what you need this switch for.

The product serves its purpose. (TLDR: good for performance; bad for gaming) Pros: If you only want to use it in terms of performance when running 2 PCs then that's done. Cons (for me): 1. My G710+ keyboard uses a dual USB port from the keyboard. The mouse is connected to the keyboard, which transmits these signals through the keyboard's second USB port. Although I correctly connected the USB keyboard port to the keyboard pass-through and the mouse USB port to the mouse pass-through to this switch, a USB connection from the switch to each PC did not allow the PC to recognize the keyboard or mouse. I used my spare keyboard (which has a USB port) and mouse separately and it worked fine, but there's a reason it's my spare keyboard so it wasn't used for me.2. All games experience graphical lag when an HDMI signal is routed through a switcher that isn't present with a direct connection. I have a PC setup for older games that I own and enjoy playing, and recently put together a new PC to keep up with current/future games, so I chose this switcher to switch my setup to a single monitor/keyboard/mouse.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • The list goes on.
