Stopped the leak when connected
I bought a separate extended hand hose and metal valve to convert my existing shower into a dual overhead shower. While the hose was taped and plastic washers, the valve was not. When three valve connections started leaking I used duct tape and it worked for 2/3 of the project. The only place where there was still a leak was the original neck-to-valve connection. I added extra tape and the extra tape helped a lot but didn't stop the leak. I added this product and there are no leaks. Both still heads have high pressure and flow.
