Received this unit to test and test the cables I will be braiding. However, to my surprise, it does not support an 8-pin PCIE connector. instead it is EPS. So if you have an 8 pin or 6+2 cable you will find that it is not compatible. I wish they would say that instead of just vaguely labeling "4, 6, 8-pin" because it's imprecise and you're actually only getting an 8-pin EPS. ** (and DO NOT try to force it! There is a notch at the top to prevent accidentally inserting the PCIE connector into the EPS, and the plastic on the device can be easily deformed).
