We started using this litter about 2 weeks ago. We have two cats that use the litter box. Both quickly got used to the throw. What I like about the putty: 1) Environmental friendliness. 2) The urine becomes scooped up and the urine forms clumps that can be washed away (along with a small discharge). 3) It seems that there is no dust. 4) Not tracked around the house. I found small grains of filler in our bed along with the old filler we used. 5) The litter itself does not have a strong odor. Some things I don't really like: 1) It takes time to pick up all the clumps while trying not to pick up any clean junk. 2) With two cats, you need to scoop MINIMUM once a day, or even twice. 3) If you do not scoop too often, you will smell a very strong smell of urine. 4) If you are not careful, it can be difficult to wash off the water. Several washes are necessary, which reduces the environmental friendliness. 5) It's quite expensive. We use about a bag a week for two cats. That's about 3 times more expensive than our old fountain pen. Summary: This is a good alternative to the usual clumping litter, but be prepared to scoop frequently. I don't know if we will continue to use this or look for other similar options.
