Review on 📀 Sony DVP-NS575P/S: The Ultimate Progressive Scan DVD Player in Silver by Shawn Quick

Let me first say that I didn't buy this DVD player to play recorded DVDs or SVCDs, I just wanted a good DVD player to play my regular DVDs, when my old Sony died. The picture quality is very impressive and I did NOT have progressive scan attached, only S-Video so I'm sure progressive scan will make it much more impressive. and plays friends' DVDs flawlessly (I've read some complaints about TV season DVDs, but that hasn't happened to me.) - Great, easy-to-use remote control. Cons - No optical output (digital coax only) Bottom line, if you want to progressive scan everything under the sun, get a Phillips DVP642. If you just want to play store bought DVDs with great picture and sound quality, this is the model for you.
