Good product if that's what you need
You can only open them if you open the drawer a little. If you try to stop your child from breaking their fingers, it will not work. I suspect it prevents them from fully opening the closet, but doesn't keep it fully closed. It's very difficult to align the sections to get it working properly and the clutch on one of them disengaged properly. For my purposes it was a waste of money.
