There were known sealing symptoms or head cracks. My 2004 Chevy Avalanche drank about 1 gallon a month. I thought why not try this product. I mixed 3 tablets with water and poured into the upper radiator pipe. And mixed 2 tablets poured into the expansion tank. Drove to work, checked level after cooling, coolant was where it should be. Also, the oil pressure is back to normal and the truck sounds great. The next day we decided to drive to San Francisco from Ontario, California. Let me just say it has run 1,000 miles without overheating and the coolant has remained stable as has the oil pressure. I would recommend this product to anyone experiencing the same symptoms.
