I'm older, late 60's and overweight. I've always had problems with my feet, but as I've gotten older I've tried every type of foot massager except two (electronic pulse like the TENS machine and regular heat/massage without massage). Shiatsu products that hurt my soles), I need to use something else to get relief from my sore feet. This percussive massager works better than those stupid shiatsu foot massagers because I can move it and push or pull away from areas that hurt more than others. This is why shiatsu doesn't work - they roll and press too deeply all over my body and where my soles of feet are sensitive they hurt so much! That way I can find the sore spots and apply pressure where it's needed - that's important for me and my poor old legs.
