But these are the same scissors from Fiskars that still delight me. They were all bought in the same specialized store "Sewing World". Cost me a little over $2,000. After trying a lot of scissors, I decided to get this one. In the store they give you to hold, click with scissors and try to cut several pieces of different fabrics. I immediately liked the fact that the scissors, due to the shape of their handles, sit perfectly in the palm of your hand. In mine, in any case, they fell like a glove, as if they were made for me. This is very important for me, because I cut a lot, sometimes I stand at the cutting table all day long. With scissors that are uncomfortable to hold, after half an hour the hand becomes numb and hurts. They cut along the entire length of the blade. Even a millimeter at the tip of the blades cuts any fabric without chewing it. These scissors were presented to me as very high quality, They said they would last at least 10 years. I don’t know about 10, but for almost 3 years they have been cutting a huge amount of fabric every day. Up to 16 layers of duplicated satin of different density are cut at a time!!! This is absolutely WOW!!! At the same time, it does not "pull" the fabric to the sides, but cuts exactly along the line where it is aimed. Of course, it makes cutting easier. During use, there were such incidents as unnoticed pins in the fabric, which I tried to cut without noticing that there was a pin. The scissors did not suffer from this, which pleasantly surprised me, although my heart went into my heels, of course, when I realized that I was trying to cut a metal pin. It also happened more than once that they fell off the table. Falling scissors is almost a tragedy, as scissors are one of the most important tools and damaging them is akin to disaster. But, no matter how carefully I handled them and no matter how carefully I followed them, unpleasant incidents happened in the flight of fantasy and work. But, to be honest, the work was not affected in any way !!! Therefore, I RECOMMEND!!! I am very satisfied with the scissors, given the amount of work they do on a daily basis. They are worth every penny and more.
