I had shoulder surgery and needed water to use my hair dryer. This stand does exactly what it's supposed to. It has a heavy enough base to easily accommodate my full size dryer. Easy height and angle adjustment. A velcro strap is included to keep the dryer handle stable, but I found that as long as I don't bang it, no strap is needed. The product works as it should, but it's not quite the same as holding the dryer in your hand. Until you get used to this stand, your hairstyle may not be what you are used to. I used it for 6 weeks and I never looked exactly the same. These are all user issues.
