I mounted them on a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. I'm towing a van and the truck no longer sags when I do that. The trailer weighs 6800 pounds. As far as towing-free riding goes, it's a bit stiffer, but nothing to snag on. It's a truck! They weren't too difficult to install. But it took some effort to swap them out since the screws were on the ram. Remember that they regulate themselves. If you connect to the trailer and don't see any changes, it's a scam. As soon as you start riding, the dampers adjust to the weight. This happens every time I connect to our caravan. Then you will see and feel the change.
