OK, but not perfect. If you like different colors and looks, buy different brands!

I bought four sets of two sets of colorful DenicMic Starburst Lights 200 sets of two sets of Fairy Lights LED strings ( B07YTN8NQP ), a total of 8 DenicMic strings and one of four sets of colorful LetsFunny 198 LED strings ( B07YYQ VBN ), 4 LetsFunny garlands in total and I love these DenicMic garlands the most because they have 4 colors! Most fairy lights have fewer than four colors of LEDs. These two different brands of lights are obviously made in the same Chinese factory, because apart from the different colors and arrangement of the LEDs, the light design as well as the functions of the remote control and the remote control are identical. I wasn't expecting to be able to control all 8 DenicMic lights and 4 LetsFunny lights with one remote from any brand's pack, but the two brands' remotes are interchangeable which makes it very convenient and I now have many extra ones too remote controls . in case one of them fails. As you can see in my picture showing DenicMic on the left and LetsFunny on the right, DenicMic has four color levels, purple in the middle, green, yellow and blue on the ends, while LetsFunny has a red/white mix in the middle and a blue/ white blend at the ends. DenicMic has a blue LED at the end of each wire, while LetsFunny's wires branch into three blue or white LEDs at each end. None of the other string lights brands offered good red LED color except for this LetsFunny which red color is also diluted with half white LEDs in the middle of the wires so I bought LetsFunny strings for their red color. and for their branched tips. The single tip DenicMic creates a sphere that looks full of color, while the three tip LetsFunny gives a better spherical perimeter contour with a higher LED density at each tip. When I combine these two strands into a group of 12 baubles, they look a lot better than if I just bought 12 lights of the same brand. These strings are LEDs, not RGB LEDs that can change color, so it's good to buy at least two brands if you like different colors. But LEDs are often used in products with at least 8 or 10 color options and if you look at all the different brands of these strings they are only made with about 6 LEDs. DenicMic and LetsFunny Fairy Lights 4 stars and not a perfect 5 stars? First, there's the aforementioned lack of LED color options across all the different vendors. I think all these magic strings are probably mass-produced in three or less factories in China, and they all use only a few colors of LEDs. If you live in an area where it can get cold in winter, the batteries will run out very quickly. There are one or two strings of lights that offer either battery power or a USB cable that plugs into the included USB-to-AC adapter, but I didn't like the colors of these lights. If a string seller is reading this, my ideal string of lights would have both a battery powered option and a wired AC plug option, as well as the ability to daisy chain 12 strings back-to-back, like Christmas LEDs. Lights can be linked together. Third, the build quality of these string lights is highly variable. From my 8 DenicMic and 4 LetsFunny strings there is a big difference in how accurate or messy the copper wires are glued to the hub. Some of the wires in my strings appear to be loosely attached to the center hub, while other strings have dried glue leaking out of the center hub. The 4 AA battery pack fits into similar connectors as for 9 volt batteries. On some of my 12 strings these connectors seem to be loose so I have to be careful to align the battery pack vertically without tilting it by screwing on the outer plastic cylinder. Overall, I really like these pears! I originally had mixed several colors of DenicMic and LetsFunny on the outside hanging above my front door. But since my nighttime temperatures sometimes dropped below 20 degrees, the batteries died in less than a week. Since I don't want to be climbing up and down the stairs every week for the next four weeks, I'm shifting all 12 strings for indoor use only.
