Great shorts. A little long but my son tends to have a full torso so I expect that. Only downside is the holes the tag leaves don't go away so there are 4 small holes on the front of the shorts. They are also great lightweight summer shorts for hiking in very hot weather and dry quickly when wet (mesh pockets).
