Review on Plantronics Voyager 5200 UC (Poly) Monaural Headset - Connect to PC/Mac, Teams, Zoom & More with Noise Canceling by Ryan Limkk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

For a long time he was an adherent of the jabra, until they were finally afraid. After the disgusting aftertaste from the last gill, I decided to try Plantronics again. The last plantronics that was a long time ago was Discovery 975, well, it really was like that, especially in terms of wearing comfort. 5200 was very pleasantly surprised by both the design and the filling. I join the review above, the only headset I know that REALLY suppresses noise (jabra storm, for example, on the contrary, enhances it, although it is positioned as windproof). 5200 is able to reset / answer with a voice, auto-pause when removed and resumed when dressed, an excellent solution for attaching ear pads (now do not lose it), speaks in a voice when connecting the first and second handset, and also speaks the remaining time of work with a voice. Summarizing, perhaps the best product on the market, adjusted only for an inadequate price tag in the 2022. I got the version without the cradle from ebay for $100. Came from Singapore to St. Petersburg in 12 days. Cradle ordered separately.

Pros
  • Noise reduction, smart sensors, quality of reception and transmission, HD-voice, excellent software for iphone, wearing comfort, caller voice notification.
Cons
  • If you really find fault, compared to the old jabra storm, it is uncomfortable to wear under a hat and attracts more attention due to its size. Signals loudly during calls, even at minimum volume levels. The rest are some pluses.
