Review on Compact Hardwire Charger 3597Lmthd Navigator by Rocco Guale

Was installed on a 2013 BMW r1200rt. I had a good time getting all the Tupperware off my bike to install this. Once installed, it worked like clockwork. My Garmin GPS booted up (and didn't go to 'CONNECT TO PC' like many other aftermarket chargers do) and was ready to use. Problems arose after 1 week. My GPS suddenly lost power. Did the miniUSB part break in half when I unplugged it? I didn't have this problem with my regular Garmin adapter plugged into an outlet, so I was surprised it broke so easily. I tried to email EDO Tech but I didn't get any response from them. I ended up just plugging in another mini USB, but now I get a message saying it's connected to a PC. Although it works partially, I cannot recommend this product; It doesn't seem strong enough for motorcycle use.
