I work in remote areas (National Forests and Wild Areas). I can hear dispatchers and other officers well in most areas. One day the dispatcher told me that my voice was muffled. I've since moved the mic closer to the top of the vest. All the radio checks I've done say I'm running clean. The ear cable has a permanent curve to fit snugly in your ear. As a woman with a small head, it's too big for my ear and I have to tuck it under my hat to keep it in my ear. Once I've fueled it up, it stays on with no problems. The little pink earbuds that come with it are amazing. They allow you to send messages without blocking out ambient noise. You can leave it there all day and not even know it's there.
