I use a Kenwood TK3840 walkie-talkie. This setup connected and worked great! Now on vacation I will update the review with the quality of the microphone.

I think these are one of the best Macs and headphones I've ever bought. Very light and durable. As long as it holds up well in the cold.

I never miss a radio call with it, which makes my day a lot safer. The only thing they have to change is the microphone/transmit button, which is difficult to use when wearing gloves. Update :::: After a month the mic started to stick resulting in a hot mic and garbled transmissions. A hot mic could have fired me. Dissatisfied.

I work in remote areas (National Forests and Wild Areas). I can hear dispatchers and other officers well in most areas. One day the dispatcher told me that my voice was muffled. I've since moved the mic closer to the top of the vest. All the radio checks I've done say I'm running clean. The ear cable has a permanent curve to fit snugly in your ear. As a woman with a small head, it's too big for my ear and I have to tuck it under my hat to keep it in my ear. Once I've fueled it up, it stays on…

Plug and play straight into my Kenwood service radio. Haven't had to use it on the road yet but will when I'm back in action. Later I will give you more information about this part of my review.
