I have an old model that is in its sixth year so of course I ordered the same model. They upgraded the model and got rid of the rotary knob to control the fog output and switched it to 3 levels with the corresponding shades of light, blue, yellow, purple for each zoom, which doesn't really matter to me. Well it actually downgraded the functionality and now my block only runs for a few seconds before shutting down. I had this problem after a few months but somehow I managed to get it to work by simply powering it off and back on to reset it. Today is only closer to the 6th month. it won't stay on no matter what I do. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting, cleaning the device, restarting, it still doesn't work. Did I receive a defective device or is this model defective with updated features?
