Worked great for my setup (mostly)

I'm a PC user at home and a Mac user at work. Well I now work from home at the same desk as a lot of other people and I wanted to simplify my setup. I wanted to be able to switch between a single monitor, mouse and keyboard, and sometimes things like a USB stick or camera. I also wanted one with a separate power adapter so my phone or whatever is charging when the computers are off. So far the system works great. There have been a few instances where the Mac keyboard and mouse didn't register at first, but the device has a reset button that fixes that. I switched back and forth a few times while I was at work when my Mac was so slow that I couldn't video conference and I was hosting a meeting on my PC. The charger worked great too. In fact, the only reason I'm giving this a lower rating is that they've placed USB ports for the keyboard and mouse on the front of the device and additional USB ports on the back. To me, you're more likely to want to change something to "additional" than ever before to change your mouse or keyboard, so that's annoying. (And yes, I did have a mouse/keyboard plugged into the back anyway, but felt I had more trouble with their presence being registered by the Mac. Psychological dissonance on my part or a real issue, well, I can't say 😅 Anyway, they're now connected to their properly marked locations.) I also always turn off my camera when not in use, so it's just a bit annoying on a weekday. I haven't used the remote yet. So. I test very quickly. It is inconvenient to use it with long nails, because you have to press the buttons hard. It also seems necessary to look at the front of the device instead of seeing it from the back. The range worked best within about eight feet.
