Works MORE - Computer Components

I spent a day setting this up and it works ALMOST. Switching between computers works flawlessly, as do the USB output ports. K&M USB ports on the front, only the keyboard port worked. Luckily there are 2 additional USB ports on the back of the unit - both work, so I plugged my K&M into these ports instead of the 'dedicated' ones on the front. I've also tried connecting the audio I/O so my headphones can set up the same as my K&Ms, but there's electrical static coming through the line from the…

Worked great for my setup (mostly)

I'm a PC user at home and a Mac user at work. Well I now work from home at the same desk as a lot of other people and I wanted to simplify my setup. I wanted to be able to switch between a single monitor, mouse and keyboard, and sometimes things like a USB stick or camera. I also wanted one with a separate power adapter so my phone or whatever is charging when the computers are off. So far the system works great. Don't waste money

It looked like the perfect KVM switch on paper. Unfortunately, the reality is very different. There is terrible hissing/hissing noise coming from the speakers regardless of what input they are on and if the audio is muted. Tried 3 different audio cables. There is no static electricity when connected directly to a laptop or tower, but it is always present over KVM.
