Same as OEM unit. Turns out I didn't need to change the solenoid. Use this on a 1992 Johnson 140 V4. The problem was that a few years ago my main negative cable was cut before it got into the hood. This connection had been badly corroded over the years and would not allow full current to flow to the solenoid. Because of this the engine really stalled on start, the gearbox wouldn't disengage from the flywheel, sometimes it just killed the battery trying to start the engine. After replacing the master switch, solenoid and starter, I finally found the real problem. Corrosion on the negative cable. Maybe only 3 gauge 2 threads remains. So I installed a new splice and voila! I left this solenoid in place as I like having a new one. This old Johnny starts like a new engine.
