Review on Ninja K32502 Foodi NeverDull German Stainless Steel Chef Knife & Sharpener Set, Premium Black by Jeff Jackson

My hubby and I cook A LOT and I'm a bit persnickety when it comes to knives since I tend to do most of the chopping. Santoku knives tend to be my favorite style, I don't know why so I was very curious to try this one. I'm no knife expert by any stretch of the imagination but these do a pretty good job without breaking the bank. I thought the packaging was a bit cheap though for the price point. However, the knife itself was super sharp right out of the package and stayed sharp for quite some time before having to sharpen.The Chef's knife is also very nice for very similar reasons. The sharpener is definitely different from many others but if you're shy about sharpening or worried that you may do it wrong, the sharpener is definitely worth trying out. You put the knife in, lock it in place, and move the lever up and down quickly about 10 times. Take the knife out, rinse and wipe off, and voila! You're ready to go and it does a great job of keeping the edge perfectly like it was new.I have been using a combination of the Santoku knife and the Chef's knife in the kitchen nearly every day for the last month and generally, really like them. I'm no knife pro, I just like what I like and can observe some other things but these are good, solid knives. There is room for improvement but for the most part, they work extremely well if you're looking for a solid set of knives that are easy to use, easy to sharpen (especially with the Ninja sharpener), and won't break the bank. The balance could be slightly better and depending on how you prefer to grip, they can slip and/or require readjustment. Since I've gotten used to them neither of these things is a deal breaker to me though. Overall, solid quality and a good option to have in the kitchen.
