I bought a pack of 5 pieces. Each onion was wrapped in a thin piece of onion foil (very thin) and then individually packed in a thin cardboard box (again, very thin). One out of 5 arrived broken. The 2nd had the ends shifted so it couldn't be used. The third worked. about 30 minutes. I'm on bulb #4 right now and not sure if it will last long. I know enough to use latex gloves when installing a halogen so it's not user error. I suspect that these other brands of halogens are all made in the same factory in China and are useless. Just asked for a refund and ordered 2 lightbulbs from Phillips. I hope they have better quality control.
