Review on 🌱 Organic Vanilla BioSteel Recovery Protein Powder, Grass-Fed, Non-GMO Formula - 27 Servings by Sandra Landgrebe

I TRYED, I REALLY MADE IT, BUT I JUST CAN'T!

I tried the stuff twice. Once in water and once in milk. Both times I mixed 2 scoops with 16 ounces of liquid. Mixes without problems. Unfortunately, both times I couldn't take more than a few sips before wincing. Yes, there's a sweet vanilla flavor, but there's also terrible chemistry. I'm not sure if it's a protein that hasn't been seasoned well or if there's something else in it. If it was a quick shot of 3 or 4 ounces I could squeeze it out once a day. But 16 ounces (8 if you choose the lowest recommendation) plus powder isn't a lot, especially when it tastes bad. Life is too short to squeeze out bad tasting supplements when there are much better and cheaper options out there. Others might like it more. Maybe it's just my taste buds, but if I had to drink this every day I would be just horrified! Even if you can get this stuff and enjoy a little, it's deadly expensive. I forgot how many servings it has (24?) but this stuff costs about $70! The serum is too expensive! Pun! I've had a great tasting of grass-fed whey before, so I know it's not about taste. Plus, all that grass-fed whey is just way overpriced. It's right there with all the organic stuff. Complete nonsense! All this for people who want a certain way of life. It is in order. But the health benefits are so minimal compared to regular whey that it's just not viable or feasible from a health standpoint. All of the health benefits associated with grass-fed whey reside in the fat, but most of it is removed. I know people who say that grass-fed whey is high in omega-3s, but studies have shown that this is more bullshit because those omegas are oxidized when consumed. Just eat damn salmon! Flavors aside, the research just doesn't show it's worth it for the health benefits. Of course, if the price is the same as regular whey and you can handle the taste, then go for it. Otherwise stay away or you'll be like Hafpor BjΓΆrnsson throwing that trash through your house and into the trash can with a barrel!
