Not a problem, but be aware

Read many reviews while looking for a flush applicator. Complaints about poor quality, overheating due to lack of flow, leaks. So before using it I checked the flow, no issues and plenty of water went through the unit. I used it with another product that I bought before. Mixed, connected, hose connected and outboard motor started, Yamaha 115. No problem, everything works as promised. Unless I go into idiot mode, there's no reason it shouldn't take long. Foam could be seen from all openings on the engine. Added editing. Still happy with this product but I read reviews where people said it was leaked. It finally did it for me, but here's the deal. The cup shaped part should have a black o-ring in the groove. This is connected to a black plastic ring at the top. The o-ring tends to stick and if you don't notice it or when cleaning the device you can lose it and not even notice until the next time it closes and leaks. We only found it when my wife found an o-ring on the actuator and we had no idea where it came from. Until we used the device and it leaked and then I remembered reading some reviews. It sticks out in the cap and should be in the groove. Be careful and you shouldn't have any problems.

Pros
  • Use as an engine flush in I/O and outboards
Cons
