Small, easy to solder to the socket.
I used them to make my own track light. Therefore I do not use data contacts. The sockets seem to hold up well to case soldering and a single flux in the solder was enough to make a good connection without having to clean them first. Soldering the contacts also went well, again quick and easy. I love these well enough that I'm definitely buying more.
