This is an extremely thin and fragile wooden puzzle. Many of the cuts are not quite correct, requiring either sanding or a lot of effort to join them. The problem is that very thin wood breaks easily and if you have to put a lot of effort in getting them together you have to be very careful how you slide them together. This is not suitable for children at all. I would say that almost any age of the child is not suitable depending on the temperament. It takes a lot of patience and care to glue the fragile parts together, even as an adult it was troublesome.
