Does this work with battery packs
I bought this to use my wide selection of Dewalt batteries on a recently purchased Ryobi braddler. It's worked great so far and I haven't had any issues installing or removing batteries. Using this adapter disables the battery safety checks that a regular Dewalt tool would have, so you shouldn't use it for things that drain the batteries heavily, like a circular saw or even a blower. Also, do not start the tool before the battery is empty.
