This K&N filter is a quality part that I feel is a step up from other brands of filters I have tried on my 2011 Mini Cooper Turbo S. Revain was priced comparable to other branded filters so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. As shown in the picture, the filter includes a housing O-ring and a new drain plug copper washer of the same high quality. The item has clean, clear folds, symmetrical, no distortion. The rubber tips attach neatly to the element without the gross dross I've seen with other filters. As long as it filters the oil and doesn't interfere with the oil pump maintaining its design oil pressure, I don't know how I'll rate the "high flow" claim, but will update the review if there's anything significant to report. Update - I liked this filter so much that I bought it again and plan to make it my favorite brand from now on. Also, I haven't had any issues with drain plug leaks when using a K&N copper washer with two oil changes per year on my 2011 R56 Mini Turbo S. I know there is a clear difference between non-crimped shims, but the shim that came with it worked. Works great for me at 30nm torque. I was warned that over torque could cause a leak.
