Review on ๐Ÿ’พ Black SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive (Model: SDCZ880-256G-G46) by Brandon Skeet

Random Quality Control

Pros: Revain shipped it the next day for free. Very good price for 256GB rated at 350-400MB/s (can't verify actual speed). Revain's returns process is one of the best in the business. Cons: The retractable plug is not fixed in the open position with a switch; fiddled with it for a while and finally just pulled the plug by hand and it locked itself. I put a floppy disk in but Windows 10 didn't recognize it. It got hot at idle. Poor quality control for a $131 super premium disc. returned for a refund. "I'm Steve from the SanDiskยฎ Global Support Team. I understand your concerns. There could be a number of reasons that could have caused this drive behavior and we'd love to help you find the best possible solution. I already have the article sent back" Thanks for the reply Team Steve! Please note that I often buy your products. I almost always put the standard 128GB speed on the rear USB 3.0 port on any system I set up or reconfigure to back up or boot from USB on Windows 10. I can get them for $25-$30. The difference in speed for the relatively small loads I'm transferring isn't very noticeable in day-to-day use. I bought a 256GB hard drive with a speed of 400Mbps as a gift for myself and of course to show my friends a new toy. When it didn't work (the cork wouldn't close), I wasn't very confident in its longevity. Another problem was the high temperature rise in standby mode. Immediately after opening the product and discovering the issues, I went to your site and looked at the entire site including the community section. Nothing helped. Since I couldn't format or scan the drive, my options were very limited. I checked several of my website visits for shipping reliability and product rating lifespan and the percentages weren't very good. The consensus was: if it works well, send it back, if it doesn't work. Considering the double or greater product cost compared to a standard speed drive and my troubleshooting time of $75 an hour, you can see where my decision to get out in three hours came from. Look closely at the star ratings. Almost 4 out of 10 buyers don't give this super premium toy a 5. Time to earn that 5.
