The paper is great but the quality is terrible. It's like folding plain old printer paper that's soaked in ink. I love gold bits but the beauty doesn't make up for the quality at this price point. After folding several models, the ink is rubbing off my fingers! I'm not expecting Tant quality paper, but you can easily find much cheaper paper of much better quality. Will he miss the beautiful patterns? Yes. But if that doesn't suit you, then I suggest you make this paper yourself. Search Google for pictures of a beautiful galaxy and print them out on standard printer paper, then cut them into squares. This gives you the same quality of paper to work with. I am extremely disappointed.
