It is best used indoors.
Previously worked well with minor modifications. The spacers that go into the wall between the two panels are not thick enough. If you are using it for anything other than a door or thin interior wall you will need to make your own panels to hide the insulation/frame. If you use it on an outside wall and strong wind blows, it won't stay closed. I ended up buying two sets and installing the door halves on the inside and outside wall and that stopped 90% of the pull and the doors actually settled and magnetized at the base.
