Previously worked well with minor modifications. The spacers that go into the wall between the two panels are not thick enough. If you are using it for anything other than a door or thin interior wall you will need to make your own panels to hide the insulation/frame. If you use it on an outside wall and strong wind blows, it won't stay closed. I ended up buying two sets and installing the door halves on the inside and outside wall and that stopped 90% of the pull and the doors actually settled

When I installed the dog door, the door had a 1/4" gap at the bottom so don't seal outside air, cockroaches and lizards. I contacted Hakuna with this information and they provided instructions on how to pry off the metal valve retainer on top of the valve. With effort, I only managed to build up 1/16 inch, leaving a constant 3/16 inch gap at the bottom of the flap. I reported this to Hakuna and they did not replace the faulty valve. I bought this because it can be mounted on something as thin as a screen. The guy who built our katio wanted to fit it into a piece of plexiglass, so it was perfect. We can close the window when not in use or in bad weather, although the Catio is supposed to be suitable for outdoor use - there simply wasn't enough time for a good test. I have contacted the support team to let them know about the valve on this product. I was told they don't sell individual parts and frames. They don't seem very interested in helping me, although they did include a card that said if I can't give them 5 stars please contact this number and not Amazon. I ordered these screws in the hope that they would replace an old door and plug a big hole. Luckily it was bigger than the old door so I just had to trim it down a bit. I then had to drill holes that had to be absolutely perfect or they wouldn't line up. I was surprised at how well the frame was built and then got to the bolts. I'm no expert at installing dog doors, but having installed 4 others before, I'm no beginner either. 1) The inner frame consists of 4 parts. Almost impossible to align when assembling the second side of the frame. It's like putting a jigsaw puzzle together in the dark. 2) I couldn't line up all 4 screw holes.
