This small handheld vacuum sealer is as good as, if not better than, a large vacuum sealer. It works better than my old full size sealer. It's about 5 inches. It comes with a charging dock. It needs to be charged for 24 hours before first use. The manufacturer recommends a full 24-hour charge to extend battery life. It has an internal battery that charges with electricity. come with 4 quart bag. They sell 2 sizes. quart and gallon. Gallon bags open at the base to hold more food. The quart bag is smaller than expected. A pound of cheese or meat will do. Gallon bags hold about 6 chicken breasts or a couple large steaks, 4 pounds of ground beef. Various prices are available. Currently, buying bags in bulk is no cheaper than buying a single box of bags. These bags are reusable. You just put your food in the bag. Close the zip and place the sealant on the bag. The round end goes in your pocket and you press the square metal end to activate it. Here's the round disc on each bag. That's where the sealant goes. It is important to ensure that the zipper is fully closed. If this doesn't work right away, the zipper isn't fully closed. It sucks out the air quickly and completely. This does not work with other packages. I really like it a lot more than a full size vacuum sealer. The bags are not cut before use and the ends are not sealed. No attempt is made to maneuver the bag properly in the car. No error messages. No need to store a bag of groceries until vacuumed. It's small and portable. After opening the package to remove part of the food. All you have to do is suck it again. I really like the zip feature instead of having to seal both ends of the packs. This will help maintain the seal. My old vacuum sealer lost part of its seal, especially when putting food in the freezer. I really like this little gadget. My normal vacuum sealer no longer works. I was looking for a replacement and settled on this one. I'm glad I did. . It's much cheaper than full size vacuum sealers. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on a new one. I highly recommend. It's better than my old sealant.
