Dan Sullivan is a smart guy. The tool is well made, and if you're familiar with electrical theory, you'll know that on-load voltage drop testing is vital. Shorting a wire with no load doesn't tell you the whole story. This tool is great. The only complaint is that it's a bit big, but you can use a test lead and clip it to the test probe and solve this problem. The book is a good read, Dan really tries to put things in simple words that are easy to understand.
