I bought two in anticipation of the two DVI monitors I was about to receive. You connect the monitor to the computer and the computer recognizes that the monitor is connected, but they do not send any display signals. The screen stays black. I've tried these adapters on different computers, different monitors, and with different DVI cables. Same result. The computer "knows" the monitor is there, but it doesn't display anything. Can't return because the return period has expired but it was a waste of money.
